Terms of service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Ut. mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at sander@sjgd.no if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create accounts using automated means or create multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene

• Impersonate any person or entity

• Spam, solicit, or advertise to other users without our consent

• Share another person's private information without their consent

• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

5. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post in the App. By posting content, you grant SJGD AS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse user-generated content and are not liable for it.

6. Venue & Event Information

Venue and event information in the App is provided for convenience and may not always be accurate or up to date. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or availability of this information and are not liable for decisions made based on it.

7. Location Data

The App uses your location to show you nearby venues and content. By granting location permissions, you consent to this use as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the App — excluding user-generated content — is owned by SJGD AS and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SJGD AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
